Three weeks ago, by chance, I listened this song "Whisper Your Name" on YouTube.
It is really a wonderful song and a wonderful music.
You can listen it endlesly !
It's a mix of china and vietnamese lyric art :
- a romantic china tune
- and a wonderful modern vietnamese girl voice.
- with a modern guitar
- and an old enchanting string instrument like a lamentation instrument.
And of course the story is the end of love, and the starting of the separation.
A tragedy situation for heart and soul as most asians and vietnamse people love !
The song has some typical words as for most of (good) vietnamese songs :
- "In the world of love, pain is inevitable"
- "Love enters almost allways into eternal separation"
You can add your own ones like me :
- "when love start, you don't know if your brake system will work ..."
- "when love stop, you don't know if your engine can restart ..."
Fortunaly, it's only a musical way of view to give intensity to a song !
I can't translate the Vietnam song "Whisper your name"
But I have found the words of the original china song.
I recommend you to listen the song 3 times:
- the first time, the song is just pretty for you
- the 2nd time, the song is very good for you
- the 3nd time, the song becomes wonderful
